The good work of the Danville Business Alliance and the Lewisburg Downtown Partnership has been recognized by the Pennsylvania Downtown Center. The Downtown Center’s statement reads: “We are honored to recognize 25 Pennsylvania downtowns that have been named ‘Nationally Accredited Programs’ by the National Main Street Center (NMSC) for 2022.”

The Community Giving Foundation is pleased to welcome Shelli Sarge to the Foundation team as Operations Assistant. Sarge will work closely with the Foundation’s Director of Philanthropy to provide support for the development and finance departments by processing incoming donations, offering technical support to donors and fundholders, and utilizing the Foundation’s database software to its fullest capabilities.

SEDA-Council of Governments (SEDA-COG) is pleased to announce that Teri Provost, a 15-year staffer, will be taking on the role of Chief in the newly formed Community Services Division.
The Community Services Division (CSD) will encompass SEDA-COG’s Community Development, Flood Resiliency, Housing Rehabilitation, and Community Revitalization programs. In the CSD, the intentionally coordinated efforts of these departments will further allow SEDA-COG to respond to community needs in a more comprehensive way. These efforts will ultimately provide improved service opportunities to our member counties and regional communities.
