Again, as we wrap up yet another federal election cycle and roll into next year’s municipal elections, your Chamber of Commerce will be partnering with Chatham University and the Pennsylvania Center for Women and Politics to encourage as many candidates as possible to run for and to fill critically important municipal positions. Nothing is more alarming and disappointing than to walk into the polls and read on your ballot: No Candidate Filed.
 
Early next year, we will co-host with Chatham University faculty ‘How to Run for Public Office’ sessions. In the meantime, please consider attending this upcoming panel discussion:

5:30 PM - 6:00 PM: Networking reception; wine and cheese served
6:00 PM - 7:30 PM: Panel discussion with Q&A
Mellon Board Room, Chatham University Shadyside Campus

A panel of local and national experts will discuss what the results of the 2022 midterm election cycle tells us about the future of the nation and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the role of gender in the election, and the relationship between the President and the newly elected Congress.
