Evangelical Community Hospital hosted its 37th Golf Classic on Friday, August 4, 2023, at the Bucknell Golf Club, Lewisburg. The event was a great success with 204 golfers raising over $54,000 for Evangelical Regional Mobile Medical Services (ERMMS).

So, this week, make it a priority to connect with and purchase from a local farmer. It is not as difficult as it sounds. The easiest way would be to attend a local market like the Lewisburg Farmers Market or Selinsgrove Farmers Market. There you will have an opportunity to meet the producers, try their goods, and shop local. It is also just a fantastic way to connect with your community. If you can’t make it to the market, try to shop in the “Local” section of your local grocery store. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Camp Mount Luther recently ended their summer camping season. Around 388 participants took part in programs during the eight-week session. Before campers arrived, the staff participated in two weeks of intense training. Upper Susquehanna Synod Bishop Craig A. Miller installed staff on June 16, 2023, at the Upper Susquehanna Synod Assembly at Susquehanna University.
