Ethical Behavior in the Workplace
Name:
Ethical Behavior in the Workplace
Date:
January 23, 2018
Time:
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM EST
Event Description:
Participants will attend a 1-hour workshop once a week for 6 weeks where they will learn the meaning of ethics, morals and the value of trust in relationships with others in their organizations. This workshop is completely interactive whereby participants will be assigned homework, have open discussions and will participate in a "simulation activity" that challenges participants ethical behavior when placed in numerous situations. It also helps them recognize the consequences of their actions on themselves and on others.
Why is the topic important?
More than ever, issues dealing with collaboration, trust, and ethical behavior decision making are in the forefront of today's concerns and likely will continue to play a significant role well into the future. However, many find it difficult to master ethics and collaboration because these are often counter-intuitive behaviors that need to be practiced and nurtured. It is essential, therefore, for people to understand how individual choices that reflect cooperation and competition make an impact on both business and personal interactions, as well as the outcomes that result from the decisions made. Individuals must be proactive in these pursuits if they are to rely on integrity and cooperation for reaching their objectives more efficiently and effectively. ~ Lorraine L. Ukens
Registration deadline: January 10th, 2018. **(no walk-ins)
