Coffee with the Candidates

The Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce and our co-host, the League of Women Voters of the Lewisburg Area are pleased to invite you to an event that we're calling "Coffee with the Candidates".  A follow-up to the highly successful "Meet the Candidates" event held for the 12th Congressional District, this event will allow the public the opportunity to hear from the candidates seeking election to the PA 85th Legislative District.  

Join the Chamber, the League, and moderator Bill Bowman of The Daily Item, as we get to know Republican Candidate David Rowe and Democratic Candidate Dr. Jennifer Rager-Kay.

The format of our event will allow the Chamber and the League to welcome our guests, introduce our sponsors, and then give candidates equal time before a crowd expected to fill the room, which will be approximately 80 attendees.  Following speeches of equal time by each candidate, Mr. Bowman will ask prepared questions which have been submitted to the candidates in advance of the event.  If there is time, questions from the audience may be submitted to our moderator and asked at Mr. Bowman?s discretion.  It is critical to note that this is not a debate, but is a forum designed to connect the community with the aspiring candidates? vision and priorities as they relate to the health and well-being of the Valley.
