This month we will be featuring a panel discussion with Monica McCarty, Dual Enrollment Coordinator at Pennsylvania College of Technology; Joe Weisser, School to Career Coordinator at SUN Area Technical Institute; Kelli Stimely, Director of Human Resources at Thermal Products Solutions; and Brian Henninger, Sergeant 1st class at the PA National Guard Recruiting and Retention Center. Our topic will focus on trends in high school graduates from 2020 and 2021, what barriers might exist for students, social emotional needs, and how can educators help students transition this year into post-secondary, military, and workforce. Join us to learn more!

To utilize the resources of the Greater Susquehanna Valley businesses and schools to promote quality education for all learners resulting in them being equipped to succeed in the local and global marketplace.
We envision the Business and Education Committee to be a mutually beneficial collaboration which results in: promoting the economic opportunities and quality educational system in the Greater Susquehanna Valley; and producing learners who have the college and career ready skills that enable them to be employable, successful, contributing members of the local economy.
