Evangelical Community Hospital Hosts High School Healthcare Careers Internship Program
Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg is taking proactive steps to prepare students interested in healthcare-related careers to meet the future demand through a unique program that allows them to experience many aspects of care. This year’s class includes 13 individuals, made up of students having completed their sophomore, junior or senior years at schools throughout the surrounding districts. The students must have a grade point average of 3.3 (88%) or better and the willingness to experience

Member Spotlight: Evangelical Community Hospital Appoints New Director of Hospice
Kathy Paul, RN, CHPN, has been named Director of Hospice at Evangelical Community Hospital. Hospice of Evangelical is a comprehensive program that assists patients and their families with the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs that may accompany a life-limiting illness. Paul’s leadership was effective on March 20, 2022. She replaces former Director, Kay Holdren, who retired after 38 years of service to Hospice of Evangelical.

Candi Taylor, RN, BSN, CRRN, ONC, has been named Director of Orthopaedics at SUN Orthopaedics of Evangelical. In this role, Taylor is primarily responsible for all operational functions of the orthopaedic service line. This includes oversight of the clinical, financial, and administrative operations of the SUN Orthopaedics clinics, including satellite locations, and how those clinics interact with orthopaedic services connected to Evangelical Community Hospital.
