This is a keynote presentation you will not want to miss. Deputy Secretary Gilberg will bring together pertinent data, critical technology trends, and decision-support insights that are shaping how Pennsylvania is investing in innovation today, while positioning our state for tomorrow. As AI continues to move rapidly from theory to application, her remarks will help demystify what this means for organizations of all sizes across our region.
Several Chamber members have asked whether data center siting and related infrastructure issues will take center stage during this year’s Innovations Summit. If this is a topic of concern for you, Deputy Secretary Gilberg’s keynote will include a discussion of state-level investments and the broader framework guiding these decisions. She will also be prepared to address high-level policy questions, should they arise, offering attendees a valuable window into how these various complex issues are being evaluated at the state level.
Deputy Secretary Gilberg brings decades of private-sector experience in both technology and manufacturing to her role at DCED. She has worked at the forefront of high-growth technologies including data security and artificial intelligence, with experience spanning the automotive, medical, and robotics industries. Most recently, she served as Vice President of Business Development for a company developing AI-driven technologies for autonomous vehicles and robotics, giving her a practical, real-world perspective on innovation and commercialization.
In her current role, Deputy Secretary Gilberg is focused on implementing the Shapiro Administration’s and DCED’s vision to attract, foster, and invest in people and companies advancing technology and innovation across multiple sectors and throughout the Commonwealth. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Syracuse University and a Master of Science in Management from Villanova University.
