Your Chamber Brings Valley Together
Your Chamber of Commerce is excited to unveil its lineup of regular events for 2025. Each monthly event provides members and future members with opportunities to connect, learn, and engage with the local business and non-profit community. Mark your calendars and get ready to take full advantage of these recurring gatherings:
First Tuesday Member Success Breakfasts: Kickstart your month with inspiration and insights. Held on the first Tuesday of every month, beginning on February 4th, these breakfast events are held at your Chamber headquarters in Shamokin Dam and are perfect for networking and gaining valuable business tips.
First Friday Member Meet-Ups: Start the weekend with a casual, lively, networking ‘happy hour style’ opportunity. These meet-ups are designed to help you build meaningful connections in a relaxed setting. Join us on the first Friday of each month at your Chamber headquarters beginning on January 3rd. Also, our gallery for local artists will be open and you can meet the many talented artists who call the Greater Susquehanna Valley home.
Second Thursday Monthly Member Meetings: Stay informed, involved, and invested. Scheduled for the second Thursday of each month, these meetings offer updates on your Chamber’s initiatives while providing a platform for members to share ideas and to provide feedback. The first Monthly Member Meeting for 2025 will be held at the Lackawanna College-Sunbury Center located at North 4th Street in Sunbury. Lunch will be served at 11:30 am, program at 12:00 Noon, followed by tours of this impressive college satellite campus located right in our backyard. This meeting is being held in conjunction with the Sunbury Center’s ‘Transfer Student Open House,’ so you’ll be rubbing elbows with the individuals who are our valley’s ‘Pillars of Prosperity’ in the coming years.
Third Friday Governmental Affairs—Capital Conversations: Keep your finger on the pulse of federal, state, and local policy developments. Join us at 10:00 am on the third Friday of each month, at the Susquehanna University’s impressive Downtown Center located at 111 N. Market Street in Selinsgrove. Each month you will hear from policymakers, industry leaders, and experts about the issues shaping our community. You’ll also directly influence your Chamber’s public policy positions on matters ranging from childcare, to education, to energy, to environment, to transportation, to workforce issues including regulations and immigration. This is a committee made of people who are not afraid to engage ‘in the arena.’ Partisan politics are always discouraged, informed/reasoned policy discussions are guaranteed.
Each of these events is tailored to foster collaboration and empower our members and future members to achieve their goals. Whether you're looking to expand your network, stay informed, or advocate for your product or process, there's something for everyone on your Chamber's 2025 calendar.

We will be waiting for you with a warm handshake and a hardy hello. Don’t forget: Bring lots of business cards to every Chamber event.
