Greetings from Bison Country!
We are excited to announce a special FREE event for all young Bison fans in the area - the 2023 Bucknell Football Family Funfest!
The event is scheduled for SATURDAY, AUGUST 19 at 3:00 pm and will take place in Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium on Bucknell's campus. All children (8th grade and below per NCAA rules) are invited to attend the Funfest and test their football skills at stations set up around the field. Each station will be run by current members of the Bison football team. In addition, there will be a cheerleading station staffed by the Bucknell cheer squad, a photo station complete with Bison gear to wear, a tour of the locker room, and a chance to make your own radio/TV call in the press box.
Participants will receive a scorecard/map upon entry into the stadium, as well as an autographed photo of the 2023 Bucknell Football team, and a voucher for free popcorn at the concession stand. Any child who completes the seven stations on their scorecard will receive TWO FREE ADULT TICKETS to the Bucknell home opener against VMI on September 9.
EXCLUSIVE DINNER OPPORTUNITY FOR JUNIOR BISON CLUB MEMBERS!
Following the completion of the funfest at 4:30 pm, all Junior Bison Club members in attendance are invited to enjoy dinner in the stadium with Bucky the Bison and select members of the current Bison football team. The football players will serve dinner to our JBC members and sign autographs! Not a Junior Bison Club member yet - no problem - you can sign up here or at the event.
If you sign up at the event, you will receive TWO FREE ADULT TICKETS to the Bucknell home opener against VMI on September 9.
