Time to get cookin’

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to raise much-needed funds for the Thyra M. Humphrey’s Center for Breast Health at the Evangelical Community Hospital, Kendy Alvarez and Bob Garrett are chefs at this year’s Cookin’ Men on October 27th. But don’t think for a minute that Kendy and Bob are in this together—for this evening at the Rusty Rail Brewing Company in Mifflinburg, they will be fierce competitors.

The Thyra M. Humphreys Center for Breast Health utilizes funds raised to ensure that all patients in the region have access to the most advanced screening and diagnostic breast imaging studies. This year’s Cookin' Men event is graciously sponsored by Weis Markets.
Kendy is teamed up with Nikki Krize, WNEP Newswatch 16 Reporter in making a traditional Trinidadian appetizer Pholourie. Alice Anne is assisting Bob, with a pink-inspired Fall Beet Borscht.
