The SEDA-COG Export Program is proud to be partnering with Penn State's Smeal College of Business, Center for Global Business Studies to bring you a half day program that will look at supply chain, sustainability, employment, and internship trends. Participants will hear from PSU leadership, the Commonwealth of PA, and hear directly from fellow exporting companies from right here in the region.

The conference, entitled, “Central Pennsylvania International Business Conference: Learning From Each Other”, will take place on May 25, 2023, in Room 217 in the Business Building, Penn State University, State College. Breakfast will begin at 7:45 a.m. and programs will wrap up at 1:00 p.m., concluding with a networking lunch. The day will be dedicated to making new contacts, learning from one another, and having conversations centered around international business.

Penn State is looking forward to engaging with the business community to share their expertise and offerings in order to maximize our region’s international growth.

Terrence Guay, director of the Center for Global Business Studies at Penn State’s Smeal College of Business, is very excited about this first-ever conference.

“I think this will be a great opportunity for Central Pennsylvania companies who are engaged in exporting or international business more broadly to learn from their successful peer companies. I am confident that presentations by my faculty colleagues on current business trends related to supply chain and sustainability will offer helpful insights to the executives who attend. I see this half-day conference as a valuable setting for local companies to network with each other and key faculty and staff at the Smeal College of Business,” said Guay.

This event is free to attend. Registration is required by May 1 and can be found here: https://bit.ly/May25Conference.
