Your Chamber of Commerce has partnered with the Columbia-Montour Chamber of Commerce and the PA Chamber of Business and Industry along with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation and chambers of commerce across Pennsylvania to host a statewide civics competition.

Please listen to PA Chamber President Luke Bernstein discuss the importance of being part of the Civics Bee: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/028z2nv4zjco32lqovgat/civics-bee.mp4?rlkey=beg3n2euxce2zdaiil5iv46sg&dl=0

The 2023-24 National Civics Bee® encourages young Americans in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade to engage in civics and contribute to their communities. The competition, modeled on traditional spelling and geography bees, gives students the chance to win recognition and earn cash prizes by sharing ideas for improving their communities and showing their enthusiasm for civics.

Local students have been invited by the Schuylkill County Chamber of Commerce to be part of their regional Civics Bee being held this spring. But, you need to move fast.
