Local Laundromat Secures Revolving Loan Funds for Business Endeavor

Haven Wash Station LLC, a local laundromat at 377 and 381 E. Main Street in Lock Haven, PA, is under new ownership. With the financial assistance provided by the First Citizens Community Bank, a low-interest fixed loan from the Clinton County Revolving Loan Fund (CCRLF) and a low-interest fixed loan from the Clinton County Enterprise Zone (CCEZ), Brian and Heather Renninger purchased the laundromat.  The decision to purchase the laundromat and pursue facility renovations was driven by the Renningers and their commitment to provide exceptional service and maintain their position as leaders in the industry. The infusion of funds from the revolving loan program allowed them to upgrade the equipment, improve the overall aesthetics of the facility, and introduce innovative features that will revolutionize the laundromat experience for its customers.

The couple worked with Tom Keiffer from the Penn State Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to develop a business plan for their new business venture.   Keiffer said, “It was a pleasure working with Brian and Heather.  The Penn State SBDC was able to assist with their business plan and financial projections. This project is truly an asset to the community.”

Peg Shaffer, Business Development Officer at the First Citizens Community Bank Mill Hall branch, worked with the couple to secure the loan funding. Shaffer said, “This was a team effort combining bank financing with Clinton County Enterprise Zone and Revolving Loan Programs.  I recently stopped by Haven Wash Station and was thrilled to see the renovations they have made to date.”
