Study French “en famille” with the Lewisburg Children’s Museum and Bucknell University’s Department of Languages, Cultures, & Linguistics. Families will join French speakers as they explore the Museum and learn the basics of the French language and culture. Topics include: basic greetings, thematic vocabulary exposure, and simple phrases. Program recommended for families with children 3-8 years old. Registration required. Walk on the Wild Side with T&D’s Cats of the World

Join our friends from T&D’s Cats of the World and take a walk on the wild side as we learn about some special creepy crawly friends and their unique set of footprints. Also learn about some of the amazing creatures that T&D’s cares for at their wildlife refuge in Snyder County. Program included with general admission and membership. Join Miss Sydney, a Bucknell University's Education and Animal Behavior Department major, as she helps us learn about some unique animals, where they live, and other fun facts about these interesting creatures with activities to follow. This program is free with general admission and recommended for children ages 3 and up.
Toddler Time

Toddler Time is an interactive program for children ages 2-5 and their caregivers. Toddler Time includes a story, sing-a-long, and/or hands-on learning activities. Program is included with general admission or membership.
Sensory Friendly Family Night

Join us for Sensory Friendly Family Nights (on 2nd Fridays of the month), a special Museum
event for children with autism spectrum or sensory processing disorders. The Museum will limit capacity, turn down sounds and lights, and provide adaptive equipment to offer a safe and fun experience for all! These programs are sponsored by the Greater Susquehanna Valley United Way and are free for participants. This event is recommended for all ages and registration is required. Paws to Read with Susquehanna Service Dogs

Celebrate Paws to Read Month by coming for a special ex-STREAM Saturday featuring SSD- Cotton from Susquehanna Service Dogs and his raiser, Deb Barrick. Enjoy a story (at 10:30 am and at 11:30 am) about the journey from puppy to service dog, meet SSD-Cotton and even help him with a puzzle! Program recommended for children 2 years and older and is included with general admission or membership.
Nature's Explorers: Dance

Join a group of explorers on the second Saturdays of the month (March through May) from 2:00 pm-3:30 pm, unless otherwise noted) to discover the curiosity of nature at Dale’s Ridge and areas surrounding Lewisburg. Each session will introduce a new way of seeing and being in the natural world: from art to science to history! Be together in safe ways outdoors, learning about the world around us and how we can help keep nature healthy. Recommended for children 5-10 years old and their families. Program made possible by collaboration between the Lewisburg Children's Museum, Bucknell University Humanities Center, Merrill W. Easy Pea-sy Garden Workshop

Easy Pea-sy fun! Join us for this gardening program where participants will build a DIY pea planter and trellis to take home, imagine during storytime, and enjoy other STEAM activities related to that green little veggie- the pea! This program is made possible with support from Reiff's Nursery & Greenhouses. Program is recommended for children 6 and up and is $12 for non-members, $10 for members. This is a drop off program. BME and ME
Saturday, March 25⋅10:30am – 12:30pm
Join the Bucknell University Biomedical Engineering (BME) students for a day of exploratory engineering activities aimed to expose young children to the wonders of BME and STEM. BME students will lead participants through a series of hands-on activities that will allow children to explore technologies that help people when they are sick or hurt. Participants will also have the opportunity to build and leave with their own 3-D printed prosthetic finger. This program is recommended for ages 5 and up and is included with general admission or membership.
