Kelsey’s Dream created the snack program, in 2007, for children with cancer that have appointments at Geisinger in Danville. The children select snacks, juice boxes or if they are there for all day treatments or procedures they can select Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, Oatmeal or Chef Boyardee microwave meals.
Valentine's Day was such a beautiful day, so it seemed like the perfect day to deliver the snacks purchased at Sam’s Club. Kelsey's Dream made arrangements with Geisinger for the delivery. The medical team said the kids really look forward to selecting snacks during their appointments. Kelsey's Dream is so excited to be able to provide this program for the children with cancer. Typically they deliver snacks to Geisinger every four months.
