Our Summer of Engagement
As the blooms of spring fade and our season of Chamber member renewals comes to a close, we now pivot to something equally vital—our Summer of Engagement. This season is all about connecting, participating, and gaining the maximum value from your Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce membership. Whether you're a long-time member or newly joined, there's no better time to get involved.
We’re kicking off our Summer of Engagement in a big way with one of our most anticipated annual events—the Economic Forecast with Anirban Basu—taking place on June 16th at the Rusty Rail Brewing Company in Mifflinburg. Mr. Basu’s engaging, data-driven economic outlook is always insightful, and this year’s event promises to be especially timely and informative. Registration is now open at gsvcc.org.
Later that same day, June 16th, you’ll find us set up along Mill Street in Danville for the Geisinger New Resident Fair, welcoming new members of the medical community and introducing them to all that our Valley has to offer.
Next, mark your calendar for July 11th, when we will host our first-ever Transportation Summit—a day-long field view of major infrastructure and mobility projects shaping our region. If you're interested in how transportation impacts economic development, this is a can't-miss event.
Then, on August 5th, our Member Success Breakfasts return! These breakfasts are your chance to connect directly with fellow members, learn about Chamber tools and services, and get practical strategies for maximizing your membership investment.
Finally, we’ll wrap up our Summer of Engagement with a high-spirited community celebration: Woofstock—Kulpmont Style on August 23rd. This event, hosted in partnership with the Kulpmont Dog Park volunteers, will feature music, food, and—of course—plenty of happy pups. It’s a joyful fusion of community, camaraderie, and canine fun!
This summer, we encourage all Chamber members to attend, participate, and share in the spirit of collaboration. Whether it’s through learning, networking, or simply showing up to support our community—your engagement makes all the difference.
By engaging and working together, our best days lie just ahead.
