Who’s in your room? Did you know that this is the title of pivotal networking book by Dr. Ivan Misner, along with Stewart Emery and Doug Harvey. The full book title along with the question about ‘who’s in your room,’ includes subtext which reads: “The question that will change your life.” To me, that’s a book I want to read.
Taking a tip from this book, I would like to suggest to you: Please let your Chamber introduce you to everyone in your room. Next Wednesday, October 1st, at 7:30 am, you’re invited to participate in our next in-a-series, Member Success Breakfast.
Staff from the Bucknell Small Business Development Center will be on hand at the breakfast to discuss on-line reviews and testimonials. We all know that the most potent business builders are these on-line referrals. We also know that scoring these referrals, particularly a full-throat endorsement of your product or service, is not an easy task. If you’re like me, I sometimes find myself at a loss when it comes to asking for a referral, review, or testimonial. Heck, from time-to-time, I stumble over how to give an on-line review.
On the morning of October 1st, you’ll be in a room full of fellow Chamber members as we learn together and then practice the process of giving and receiving on-line reviews. Together, we will answer that most important question about who is in our room while enjoying a delicious breakfast, hot coffee, warm fellowship, enlightening learning, all topped off with a delightful set of fresh on-line reviews.
