Today, we finish what is often considered to be summer, the last day of August. Tomorrow, we kick off our long Labor Day weekend, and immediately we think of fall and the impending winter. Before I go any further, please let me offer best wishes to you, your family, your co-workers, and friends for an enjoyable, restful, and safe Labor Day weekend.
But, as Yogi Berra would say, “It ain’t over yet.” Please take a moment to listen to today’s recording brought to you by Judy Machesic, Member Services Director at the Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau, along with your Chamber’s Director of Membership and Workforce Development, Zach Stotter. What you’re about to hear is a snippet of all the things that are going on between today and the official end of summer, which isn’t in till September 23rd, this year.
You will also hear about the many, many, many activities and events coming up in the Susquehanna River Valley this fall. Oh, what fun it would be if we could do every festival, fair, concert, and every other great event that’s coming up. You’ll earn superhuman status if you do. Good luck, go get ‘em.
The point is that your Chamber leaders and staff invite you to take big bites out of all the makes the Greater Susquehanna Valley the fantastic place it is to live, work, play, shop, visit, and do pretty much anything and everything else.
Happy Labor Day…our best days lie just ahead.
