Also filling quickly is our Guided Garden Tour of the Arboretum at Penn State, scheduled for Friday, September 29 at 10:30am. Space is limited strictly to 20 people. Register online for this program, just as you would for a class (https://reg138.imperisoft.com/Bucknell/Search/Registration.aspx; this program will be found in a search of the Fall 2023 programs, final listing). Or, contact BILL: (570) 522-0105 or lifelonglearning@bucknell.edu. Registrations are first-come, first served. I will do my best to place emailed and telephoned requests based on their date and time stamps when I return to work on Monday, but online registrations continue all weekend. A pdf for this trip is attached and provides more details.
Another BILL Special Presentation is around the corner: On September 7, 2023 at 3:30, Professor Zhiqun Zhu will discuss “Three Levels of U.S. – China Rivalry.” Yes, there’s a pdf for this event, too. To RSVP, use the online form at https://forms.gle/jj2djqafXaWh2sa88. Or, you may email: lifelonglearning@bucknell.edu or call the office at (570) 522-0105. Please put “RSVP Sep 7” in the subject line if emailing, and be sure to give your name and contact information, as well as those for any guests whom you wish to register.
Looking for more to do? Read on for some great opportunities to visit the Bucknell campus – invitations to public events and use of the Bertrand Library are two special benefits of BILL membership, plus it’s fun to learn together when attending these programs. There are other opportunities around town, from organizations in which our BILL members participate and for which they hope to see you soon. Whatever you do, stay safe out there and Grow Your Mind!
