Billed as a Business and Education Committee Plant Tour, the Chamber’s visit this week to a local coffee production facility turned out to be much more.
Our walk-around a modern food production facility, such as Fresh Roasted Coffee, LLC located in Sunbury turned out to be good portions of technology showcase, educator-in-the-workplace industry familiarization, and a wonderful venture into deliciousness.
Thanks goes to Andy Oakes, owner of Fresh Roasted Coffee, for rolling out the welcome mat for more than 30 Chamber members to learn more about the challenges and intricacies of what it takes to put coffee beans into a bag, onto store shelves, and into coffee makers all over North America. Andy was very generous with his time and completely thorough in his explanations of what it takes to make every cup of Fresh Roasted Coffee robustly memorable.
