Well done, Gale!
At last evening’s Central Susquehanna Opportunities Board Meeting, we wished our friend and phenomenal public servant Gale Wasileski Zalar farewell and Godspeed. Toiling in the human services vineyards for just under four decades, Gale established a reputation for ‘tough love’ for her clients and ‘trusted friend and wise counselor’ to her employees and colleagues. Personally, I must say that, more times than I might care to admit, I leaned pretty heavily on Gale for some leadership tidbit or executive level advice. Well done, Gale! Now, go yonder to enjoy a long, healthy, and prosperous retirement.
Not skipping a beat, and under the steady leadership of CSO Board Chair, Greg Sacavage, long-time lieutenant to Gale (officially, she’s the CSO Operations Manager), Megan Bair was appointed the new CEO. Megan is well known to the Greater Susquehanna Valley business community thanks to her good work and solid reputation of getting things done on workforce development. Welcome aboard, Megan!
