Friday, September 15th will be the last day with Bucknell's Small Business Development Center for Maureen Hauck, Assistant Director for Business Consulting.
In her hundreds of Business Startup & "First Step" workshops over the years, Maureen has presented to over 5,000 entrepreneurs throughout the region and has helped thousands more to start and grow successful businesses.
Maureen was recognized as the Pennsylvania "State Star" in 2015 by America's Small Business Development Centers for her sustained commitment to small businesses and her leadership in the SBDC program. Bucknell University and small business owners of the region are grateful for her excellence and service.
Please join the SBDC team, business owners, partners, and friends to wish her happiness in her very well-deserved retirement!
"As I prepare to retire, I can only look back with gratitude. It's been the adventure of a lifetime to have played a small role in the services provided by our SBDC network. Over the past 23 years, it has been a privilege to be part of a dedicated team of professionals with the common goal of assisting clients to achieve their business ownership dreams.
I am deeply grateful to Bucknell University, my colleagues and friends, community partners, chambers of commerce, legislators, educators, and the many clients our center has served, and will continue to serve; and to have had this opportunity.
Those who know me best have heard me say many times that my career with the SBDC was the answer to a prayer.
Thank you for the memories and all the best!"
