Career Ready Central PA Kicks Off

Standing in front of a massive SmartBoard®, Dr. Bernadette Boerckel describes the journey that led to the official kick-off for Career Ready Central PA. Taking other key roles in this kickoff event, held last week, standing alongside Bernadette are to the left, Alexa Hann of Advance Central PA and on the right, Jen Hain, SUN Tech Director. Jen will soon be transitioning from her SUN Tech role to serving as the coordinator of Career Ready Central PA.

To be clear, Career Ready Central PA isn’t simply the next new thing in preparing our valley’s workforce, it is the thing. Said another way, it’s the too long elusive Single Stop for workforce and career readiness advocacy and information. This resource has been developed based on years of research and by taking the very best from other successful workforce development initiatives and programs.
