How do data breaches, malware, and hackers put your small business and your customers at risk?

Last year, almost half of all cyberattacks targeted small businesses; and 2 out of every 3 small businesses hit by a cyberattack close within a few months of the disruption. In 2017, damages from ransomware are expected to cost firms over $5 billion. Come to this workshop to learn how to arm your small business against cyber attack, and connect with resources and experts who can help.

Workshop speakers will address topics such as social engineering, data breaches, phishing, cloud backup services, and password management. Additionally, Bucknell Chief Information Security Officer Chris Bernard will moderate an interactive panel discussion, the SBDC will share a new cybersecurity risk assessment checklist designed to help small businesses improve their security, and technology services firm MePush will exhibit a hands-on "hack station".
