The Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce is pleased to bring to fruition the 2nd Annual Members Choice Financial Credit Union Anthracite Economic Summit. What began as a small event at the AOAA spearheaded by Founding Partner Members Choice Financial Credit Union, is growing exponentially. Now "one" with the News-Item's annual Business Roundtable, and held at the Northumberland County Career and Technology Center, the Chamber is pleased to include in this year's summit a keynote speaker, Doug Matheny, Special Advisor to the US Secretary of Energy, Office of Fossil Fuels. Following Mr. Matheny's remarks, the event will consist of a panel discussion about the future of energy (moderated by Andy Heintzelman of the News-Item), lunch served by the culinary students of our host, The Northumberland County Career and Technology Center, and breakout sessions regarding the AOAA, hospitality, and workforce development.
