We will follow this up with a well-managed recruitment process which includes analyzing the current composition of the board\, the needs of the organization in terms of skills and talents\, a written recruitment process\, board job description\, etc.\, which is part of the recruitment tool kit\n\n\n\n----------------------------------------------------------------------------\n\n\n\nOne of the biggest challenges facing nonprofit organizations is securing talented\, qualified and engaged board directors. \n\n\n\nIn this workshop entitled\, "Getting the Right People in the Right Seat on the Board: Recruitment Tool Kit and Board Diversity"\, brought to you by the Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Susquehanna River Valley Visitors Bureau and presented by Tish Mogan with the Pennsylvania Association of Non Profits\, you'll find the answers to these questions: \n\n \n\n Is your board clear on the recruitment process for new members? \n Who on the board is responsible for ensuring a strong recruitment process? \n Is there a clear picture of who is needed on the board to accomplish the strategic plan and achieve mission? \n What can you do to ensure you have people on the board that represent the people that you serve? \n\nThis program explores all these questions and more in the board recruitment process.\n\n\n\nYou'll learn the tools and resources that can assist in strengthening your board recruitment process which can lead to a stronger board and a stronger organization.
