Join us in celebrating the grand opening of the region'\;s newest hub for culinary education and events: Chef'\;s Place. \; Located in Downtown Milton\, Chef'\;s Place is a space where teens and young adults can learn to cook and manage a business\, as well as socialize with other teens throughout the region. It will also serve as a business incubator for new restaurant and catering entrepreneurs. \; There is even Chef'\;s Garden on-site to teach farm-to-table!

\n\nThe concept of Chef'\;s Place started almost a year ago during a discussion about a can of Chef Boyardee in the office of Milton'\;s Downtown Revitalization Non-Profit Organization T.I.M.E. - The Improved Milton Experience. \; Since that day numerous other organizations have come on board to support their efforts in bringing this idea to fruition including GSV United Way\, Bucknell University Small Business Development Center (SBDC)\, Penn State Extension and the GSV Chamber of Commerce. \; Together these organizations were able to secure a very generous donation of $25\,000 from Conagra Foods to support the funding needed to start the renovations.
\n\n\;
\n\nIn addition to these organizations\, numerous other volunteers from throughout the region have donated their time\, money and resources to build Chef'\;s Place. \; Over the summer they have transformed what used to be an old banquet room located on the 2nd floor of the Milton Moose\, into an Art Deco inspired facility that is designed to not only host culinary education classes and events\, but also a place to honor the world famous\, local legend Chef Boyardee.

\n\nThe Chef'\;s Place Soiré\;e is invite only and YOU are cordially invited to attend. This is the first ever event held at Chef'\;s Place. \; There will be a showcase of Chefs from throughout our region\, serving hors d'\;oeuvres\, who are eager to tell you about their dish and their perspective on how Chef'\;s Place will impact our region. \; In addition to hors d'\;oeuvres\, local craft beverages will be served as well as live entertainment and a brief program put together by TIME.
