DESCRIPTION:Registrations must be made on or before 11:55 p.m. on Monday\, May 18th - no exceptions.\n\n\n\nYour leaders will provide informative updates on what your Chamber is doing for you. As in other years\, the Annual Meeting will include a celebration of our awardees. Awards include:\n\n \n\n2020 Award Nominations\n\n \n\nSmall Business of the Year\n\n\n	Is presented to a business that has less than 75 employees.  This business is a shining example of professional growth\, excellence and commitment in the Susquehanna Valley\n\n \n\nBusiness of the Year\n\n\n	Is presented to a business that has more than 75 employees and is a vibrant example of professional growth\, excellence and commitment in the Susquehanna Valley\n\n  \n\n \n\nKaren L. Hackman Star of Excellence(Volunteer of the Year)\n\n\n	This award was established in recognition of Karen L. Hackman's leadership qualities in helping to create a unified Chamber in 2002.  It is presented annually to a Chamber member whose leadership\, volunteer commitment\, civic and professional qualities best exemplify Ms. Hackman's service to the Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce\n\n  \n\nHeritage Award (presented by Dan Foss of Foss Jewelers)\n\n\n	This award was created to honor those in our region that put the needs of our community and their fellow friends and neighbors above themselves.  The Heritage Award recipients have left a legacy to be remembered and are role models for future generations to come.\n\n Young Professional of the Year\n\n\n	This award\, first presented in 2018\, recognizes a professional under the age of 40\, in our valley who demonstrates leadership in his or her profession along with a strong commitment to community service.\n\n  \n\nThe ATHENA  Leadership Award\n\n\n	The ATHENA Leadership Award was inspired by the goddess of Greek mythology known for her strength\, courage\, wisdom and enlightenment - qualities embodied in the ATHENA Leadership Model. The Award is unique in both scope---local\, national and international---and the ATHENA mission upon which it is based. The ATHENA Leadership Award is presented to a woman ---or man--- who is honored for professional excellence\, community service and for actively assisting women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills.\n\n\n \n\nWith a jammed packed program\, this will be an Annual Meeting filled with information and celebration for all\, not to be missed.
