CORRECTIONS CONSULTANTS, LLC is excited to announce that it will hold a ribbon cutting on December 5, 2018 at the Bucknell Small Business Development Center, 416 Market Street, Lewisburg, PA, at 10:30 AM. Corrections Consultants, LLC is a new company built on over 30 years of experience in a variety of corrections roles including jails, correctional facilities, and community corrections. The company was formed after recognizing how difficult it is for Federal, State, County, and private corrections facilities throughout the United States to access experienced staff and expertise in corrections. Corrections Consultants, LLC will provide expertise for performing audits and assessments of current practices, as well as staff training to remediate any problems that may be found. Correctional Consultants will also assist facilities in adapting to or adopting contemporary correctional practices by providing services such as short- and long-term training or “training for the trainer.” Corrections Consultants, LLC aims to help correctional facilities identify potential problems before any incidents occur; however, the company can also assist clients when preparing for lawsuits for a variety of reasons, including Department of Justice condition of confinement lawsuits. Corrections Consultants, LLC was founded by Karen Byerly Nicholson, a resident of Lewisburg, PA and brings over 30 years of experience in the corrections industry.
