Communications Luncheon

Come out and join the Chamber's Communication Committee as we welcome Mark Cohen, President of the Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association, to speak on the topic, "The transition of Media, Real News and the Pivot of the Newspaper Industry." 
 
Mark Cohen is President of the Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association, the Pennsylvania NewsMedia Association Foundation and MANSI Media for the last year. Most recently, he was Publisher and Digital Director of the Akron Beacon Journal and Ohio.com. Under Cohen’s leadership, the Akron Beacon Journal was voted 2017 Newspaper of the Year. While in Akron, Cohen served on the boards of the Greater Akron Chamber of Commerce, the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, the Akron Roundtable, the United Way of Summit County and the Downtown Akron Partnership.  A Cincinnati native, Cohen started his career as a sales executive at the Cincinnati Enquirer. He has also worked for Thomson Newspapers, GateHouse Newspapers and the Pioneer Newspaper Group and cnhi. Thirty plus year advocate of our media industry. Belief that it is time to fight back.
